(1) Tempered glass: Its role is to protect the main body of the power generation (such as battery cells). The selection of light transmission is required:


Light transmittance must be high (generally above 91%); 2. Ultra-white tempered.


(2) EVA: It is used to bond and fix the toughened glass and the main body (battery). The quality of the transparent EVA material directly affects the life of the module. The EVA exposed to the air is easy to age and yellow, which affects the light transmission of the module. In addition to the quality of EVA itself, the lamination process of component manufacturers also has a great impact. For example, if the EVA adhesiveness is not up to standard, and the bonding strength between EVA and tempered glass and the back plate is not enough, it will cause EVA. Early aging affects component life.


(3) Cells: The main role is to generate electricity. The mainstream in the power generation market is crystalline silicon solar cells and thin-film solar cells, both of which have advantages and disadvantages.


The cost of crystalline silicon solar cells is relatively low, but the consumption and cost of the cells are high, but the photoelectric conversion efficiency is also high, and it is more suitable to generate electricity under outdoor sunlight.


Thin-film solar cells have higher relative equipment costs, but the consumption and battery costs are very low. However, the photoelectric conversion efficiency is more than half that of crystalline silicon cells, but the low-light effect is very good. It can also generate electricity under ordinary lights, such as a calculator. Solar cells on the board.


(4) Back plate: function, sealed, insulated and waterproof. Generally, materials such as TPT and TPE must be resistant to aging. Most component manufacturers have a 25-year warranty. Tempered glass and aluminum alloys are generally no problem. The key is whether the requirements can be met with the backplane and silicone.


(5) Aluminum alloy: It protects the laminate and plays a certain role in sealing and supporting.


(6) Junction box: protects the entire power generation system and acts as a current transfer station. If the module short-circuited junction box automatically disconnects the short-circuit battery string, the most critical thing in preventing the entire system junction box is the selection of diodes. Different types of battery chips have different diodes.


(7) Silicone: It is used to seal the component and the aluminum alloy frame, and the junction between the component and the junction box. Some companies use double-sided tape and foam instead of silicone. Silicone is widely used in China. The process is simple, convenient and easy to operate. And the cost is very low.
